GE Capital Floor Planning Education (Thursday, September 8th, 11:40 a.m.-12:40 p.m.)

Learn how to use the GE Floor planning program and take advantage of the Show Only Special GE will offer on floor planning for dealers from both the United States and Canada, and take advantage of a streamlined set-up process for GE Capital.

NATM Mandatory Compliance Meeting (Friday, September 9th, 4-5 p.m.)

The National Association of Trailer Manufacturers has a new, mandatory compliance requirement. Make sure you know what this means and how it might affect your dealership.

Canadian Trailer Dealer Summit (Friday, September 9th 8-10:30 a.m.)

The two hours of Canadian specific education with guest speakers QAI Laboratories, GE Capital Canada and the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers. This will cover U.S. versus Canadian compliance, trailer industry trends, new technology and products in the market, efficient import and sale of U.S. trailers in Canada.

*Applicable sections of the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (CMVSS)

*Intro on how to determine conformance to the CMVSS

*Some differences between CMVSS and FMVSS (USA)

*Transport Canada’s role & enforcement of the CMVSS

*Importation methods (procedures/problems)

*QAI’s program for assisting manufacturers & dealers

Trade Show Workshops (Friday, September 9th – 3-4 p.m.)
